HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLO .After the flight to Brunei, we had a few hours to do something. Both groups went into the town and had a look around. Everything is completely different to home life. Finally arrived in Kota Kinabalu at half past seven(our time- 7 hours ahead) last night. It was an extremeley long journey but lots of movies and games helped to pass the time. We went to our hostels, each groups at different ones but only five minutes away from each other. Once got over the initial shock of it not being five-star luxury it was fine:) Weather exactly like scotland... BOILING HOTTTTT! Just exploring KK now to find things to do for our rest days. Divers (in group 2) have a flight tomorrow to Semporna around 12-ish in the afternoon. Group 1 who are going to the jungle are getting trucks to Miki's survival camp. We have some messages from some of us so here they are.

Final Preparation Day Details
Our final preparation training will take place on Tuesday 28 September from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm in the old common room (across in the extension).
YOU MUST BRING YOUR FULLY PACKED RUCKSACK WITH YOU THAT MORNING. Please ensure you arrive at school early in order to drop your rucksack off (room to be confirmed) before heading to your period one class.
THE RUCKSACK WILL NOT LEAVE THE SCHOOL AT THE END OF THE TRAINING. At 3.00 pm you will move your rucksack to an area where they can be stored securely until you return to school at 2.00 am the next morning to catch the bus.
During the session, your Expedition Leader will carry out a full bag check which will involve emptying your bag, checking for unnecessary equipment and repacking them (including any team equipment supplied by Outlook).
PLEASE BRING A PACKED LUNCH WITH YOU TO SCHOOL THAT DAY. We will break for lunch at the most convenient time during the 4 hour training session and that will not necessarily be during the normal school lunch hour.
Please contact Miss Anderson if you have any questions regarding the Final Preparation Day. We will discuss these arrangements further at our next group meeting on Tuesday 21 September 2010.
