ReplyDeleteHi everyone. It's John Vannet here reading the blog with great interest as it reminds me of everything we did on our trip 2 years ago. You guys have had an amazing experience - one which you will never forget. You have seen a part of the world which is so different to what we know and take for granted in Forfar. The people who live out on the islands or on the stilt houses in the middle of the sea have a very basic standard of living yet they were so friendly towards us as we arrived in our speedboats to visit the dive sights. I remember one of our party saying to me that they would never take anything for granted again after seeing how the local people lived. Anyway enough of the reminiscing. Well done to everyone on the trip for surviving each others company for 2 weeks, for the effort you have all put into the jungle trek and the diving experience and of course to the staff both from the school and Outlook Expeditions for making this such a successful trip which you will all remember for the rest of your lives. Have a safe journey home and I look forward to seeing your photos and to hear all your stories.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had an amazing time diving - can't wait to see the photos. It has been so good reading the blog to find out what you are all up to. A big thank you to all the teachers and Outlook staff for looking after you and giving you the chance to have this amazing experience.Have a safe journey home and see you on Wednesday
